This is a standard green pin harp shackle featuring a screw collar pin that is quick and easy to use for temporary connection or anchoring tasks. While the screw collar pin is hand tightened initially, it should be further tightened using a wrench or other suitable tool to ensure maximum tightening. This will help prevent the pin from loosening during use, which may occur due to vibrations, lifting equipment or friction on the screw collar pin.

The high tensile strength steel up to grade 6, quenched and tempered construction of these green pin shackles allows them to be used with a hot dip galvanized finish in a wide range of temperatures, from minus 40 degrees to plus 200 degrees Celsius.

These shackles come with a 6:1 safety ratio, meaning that the minimum breaking load is equal to 6 times the working load limit (WLL), and they are available in capacities up to 12 tons.
