A chain sling is a type of chain assembly with only one chain leg. With a chain sling, you have the option to choose both lifting hooks, which makes for a wide range of possibilities. The main difference between a chain sling and a chain forerunner is that a forerunner always has a top link on the chain. With a chain length, however, you can choose from a variety of options.

Our chain assemblies are all constructed with grade 100 material, which allows for a higher workload with a smaller chain size. The length you select for your chain length corresponds to the working length of the assembly, which is measured from the inside of one hook to the inside of the other.

In selecting your chain length, you have the option to choose the type of hook you desire for both the top and bottom of the chain. The available options for the top hook include the flap hook, safety hook, grip latch safety hook, or a closure. After selecting your desired tonnage and chain size (ranging from 1,400 to 10,000 kg), you can choose the type of hook you want for the bottom of the chain length, which includes the same options as the top hook.
