Mitari's 280.S sling chains are composed of top links and connecting links. There is also a choice for a shortening hook. The chain can be shortened with a shortening hook. This can be done by placing the chain in the shortening hook. 

A sling chain can be used by threading one top link through the other top link, this creates a sling that can be slung around a pipe, for example. May the object to be lifted not be damaged? Then we recommend using a round sling or hoisting sling to hoist the load.
